A small requirement with sharp edges
The ask reads simply: two fields populate per stage, and appear only once the opportunity moves to that stage. In practice it is a conditional visibility and validation problem, and getting it wrong either blocks reps from saving or lets records through half filled.
How it was built
Stage-driven page layout logic paired with validation that only fires at the relevant stage, so a rep sees two fields at a time and is required to complete them before moving on.
Delivered as a fixed-price job rather than a retainer, which suited a tightly defined scope.
